So, downloaded the sample for this book and enjoyed it. However, once you actually get into the story you soon realize it’s flat, boring, horribly annoying at times, dreadfully predictable and doesn’t even have a real ending. You have to buy the next books to find out what happens. I don’t care what happens. This family is stupid. The mom starts out likable and interesting but *spoiler alert* is a liar and a really bad example. It’s very soap opera, the dad was unable to have children and tells his wife to go sleep with another man to have children, they really put down adoption which WTF? Ansley does sleep with another man, her high school sweetheart. Her youngest daughter is a slut according the her sisters and mom. Her eldest is a snob. Also, Ansley seems o take a jab at breastfeeding, again WTF? It didn’t feel like a southern book at all. It’s just a nope, u less you like reality tv show drama and annoying women. Oh, Caroline’s husband cheats with an Uber model who her sister is playing in a movie and who her husband goes on a reality tv show with, just none sense. Don’t waste your money or precious reading time.
