I can't say enough good things about this book. The nuanced, vulnerable approach of the author is amazing. I've been feeling blocked in my activism for years now, struggling with the same "unthinkable thoughts" as her. Reading this removed that block and brought me back to the work. Also, to my relief, this book is NOT a boomer being like "kids these days..." nor is the book about letting abusers off the hook. There is another book circulating rn that IS that kind of book. This, refreshingly, is not.The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is that, as amazing as this "book" is, it's not actually a book. It's not even novella length. It's... somewhere between a pamphlet and an essay. And even by the author's admission, the bulk of it is an edited version of a blog post you can find online... I can get a 500 page book for $10... I only took off one star but... I really wish they hadn't overcharged for the content.
